Joy is the simplest form of gratitude

चित्ते प्रसन्ने भुवनं प्रसन्नं चित्ते विषण्णे भुवनं विषण्णम् । अतोऽभिलाषो यदि ते सुखे स्यात् चित्तप्रसादे प्रथमं यतस्व ॥ 
Meaning - If the mind is happy, the entire world (seems) happy.

Child teaches us to smile and laugh louder,
Life is hard and is harder,,
Joyness blocks the negative thoughts,
Enjoying is like dyeing with colors every knot,,
Stress and strain brings wrinkles,
So, just smile as it creates on face cute dimples,,


Joy is natural, it is an emotion that is expressed through laughter, love and goodness. Joyness acts as remedy for the several ailments and the strongest surture for the stress and the mental health.

The power of gratitude is exemplified as joy in its divine, purest and simplest form. This is seen in all phases of life, when baby initiates the very first steps, toddler walking on it's own, individual getting his first salary, marrying the love of life, aspirant cracking the dream exam, farmers getting benefitted by the government schemes, soldiers sanctioning their leaves and such list goes on. The gratitude of any individual, irrespective of their age or economic status, is expressed in the form of joy. It is an innate sense of reverence that shows our thankfulness for a contribution made to add value to our lives.

Joy is a basic and instinctive human emotion that bridges one's actions to gratitude. It is the simplest way to express our gratitude for the blessings in our lives. It is a continuous process. It needs an individual efforts on the good in our lives and a conscious effort to express gratitude. Here are some practical ways to cultivate joy and gratitude:

Practice gratitude: Thank you is not only a phrase but an emotion of expression and experience gratefulness. Make a habit of expressing gratitude for the things in your life that bring you joy. This could be through journaling, verbalizing your gratitude, or simply taking time to reflect on the good things in your life. An individual good words are many times evident of big hopes and beautiful depiction of humility.

Seek out opportunities and actions to engage in activities that bring you happiness and fulfillment without much concerned about the society. 


Practice mindfulness: Take time each day to be mindful and present in the moment. Past can't be recovered, future can't be predicted so be in present. This can be fruitful to stay concentrated on the present and reduce stress and negative thinking.
