The art of doing nothing

चिन्तया जायते दुःखं नान्यथेहेति निश्चयी। तया हीनः सुखी शान्तः सर्वत्र गलितस्पृहः॥
Meaning - Lord Krishna states that stress, burn out and over thinking are the sole reasons for the sorrows of mankind life.

It's hard to let go of the urge to control everything and enjoying the little things in life. How tough nowadays is to stay happy and healthy. Data states that 43% population in USA , 59% population in Bharat, 70% population in South Korea are burning out, sadly the youth are the most vulnerable category to be specific. Consequences of stress and depression is drug addiction and surge in suicide rates. Sierra Leone is perfect example of deteriorating the youth to the maximum limit by excessive addiction to drugs, it's beyond the imagination that youth of this country is digging out the graves to get the drugs from the bones of dead.

Education motive is to seek job for the youth with great package and same is decorated by the stress, depression along with dissatisfaction. Irony is that life expectancy of our nation and the world has been increased by impression margins but the health index of the world is decreasing with great pace. It's a famous old saying that stale chapati is enough nutritious if one ets with happy faces

This is concerning that the Bharat's fertility rate reaches to 2.1 but more worsening is that Europe fertility is below 2 and inSouth Korea it is 0.81 & in Japan it is 1.30 Population is shrinking because of overthinking and burn outs.

Lost those days when people share their thoughts to each other and such silly and foolish discussions were progressive genuinely.

Recently, Dutch has conferred to world a new term NIKSEN, an art of doing nothing. Although same is preached at Bharat since long at Bhagwat Geeta ji i.e. कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ २-४७ (To work alone you have the right, and not to the fruits. Do not be impelled by the fruits of work.
Nor have attachment to inaction). The art of doing nothing doesn't states to stay idle and just scroll down or up, it simply emphasis to do productive that actually matters to an individual the most. Practising yoga or meditation are the best and strong bullets to support the quote. Bhagwat Geeta ji this shloka is self explanatory that elaborates very warmly that only efforts are in our control, so jumping into the conclusions are literally elevating an individuals problem to the maximum. Doing the work that particularly suits one's interests are enough productive and enjoyable. Work orientations are fruitful to distance an individuals from overthinking thoughts and negative thoughts.

NIKSEN, the term given by Dutch or Meditation or Bhagwat Geeta ji lesson emphasizes that Karma, art of doing nothing (productive) comprises of two actions, first one is Efforts, hard work, karma and second one is an individual's thoughts, perspectives. An effective individual leads to an intellectual society. All the reasons for overthinking, stress are almost poured to an individual by the society be it marriage, job position, ranks, titles, grades, beauty, materialistic luxuries etc, therefore if people mind their own business, such burn outs can be reduced.

Conclusion
Not-doing is about being. You're not in your head, thinking about what you should do. You are simply being yourself in the moment, and your actions are an expression of who you are. Nothing is done, and yet, nothing is left undone. Enjoying the small small things, appreciate oneself, why to be dependent on our own happiness 😊 on others, be productive, make one's own rule book but certainly that must meet the spiritual consciousness.
