Role Of Individuals in International/Foreign Politics

 

The Orator, Shri S. Jaishankar, standing in the Rajya Sabha has emphasised that each citizen should actively start taking interest in the geopolitics and foreign policies of our beloved nation Bharat. No nation is perfect it needs to be made. And who makes a nation perfect is it's people. As Democracy is crowned as a best way of ruling and executing, and democracy itself states for the people, of the people and by the people. A nation is because of it's population, if later is smart than certainly a nation is the smartest. The renowned parlance is that if entire society is educated than leaders won't easily fool the voters as educated people won't be sold by freebies or any other greediness. Because if voters are well educated then will discuss the issues of nations at international level not inherent national issues, as said by legend Bhagat Singh ji that nation interest must be ahead of self interest. Me rahun na rahun yeh desh rehna chahiye. To make our national policies strong and in favour to the people of nation it's our moral duty to take active participation in the discussion and knowing the facts behind structuring any foreign policies. Israel, Japan, South Korea are some nations and can be used for case study where people keep the self interest way behind the nation interest. They know the geopolitics of their nation to maximum level. As we know how brutally had Imperial Japan at second world war had murdered, raped nationals of Korea and to compensate same Japan has said apologised and compensated South Korea with $800 millions but still South Korea recently started saying against Japan and demanding more compensation so then without indulging government in this issue it's the people of both countries that have decided to choose apart and boycotted even each other's products. And we all know the perfect nationalist nation Israel, surrounded by so many enemies yet flourishing.

What is the need to take interest in foreign policies? 

Our Foreign minister appealed to the people of Bharat, that developing interest in foreign policies will cater to :-

1. Structuring of Foreign Policies - if people of Bharat are keenly interested in the geopolitics than certainly it will be much easier to draft policies because people's discussion provides strength in governance and irrelevant questions ceases from Opposition thus much focus on concrete and important subjects can be made. As knowledge about the subject bargains much for the fertility and lesser for the reluctances. Likewise when it comes vanishing of the art. 370 from J&K, whole nation in a single tone supported the government because Indians can relate that pain of loosing human life by terrorism. New Education policy is welcomed by the citizens of Bharat citing the good and bad about it. 

2. Approaching Foreign Nation for study or work  - Bharat is receiving maximum of remittances in the world i.e USD 125 billion and approximately 13 lakhs students going to abroad for studies every year. This is huge and has offcourse very massive share of GDP contribution. Both way earning through remittances and expending at education via sending students to other country. In both mamner it's very important to know to which country are you approaching to? As we all know about Ukraine crisis and how Mission Ganga from Bharat had evacuated students in large number. Then recently Canada issues when their PM unnecessary causing nuisance and might could affect our students even after this fall in students' visa has been observed to Canada. Recently, people going to Russia for the jobs has been captivated and misguided to sign the contract to work at frontline commando for Russia against Ukraine. Such many more illustrations are there. So it's utmost important that we should be aware enough to know the geopolitics relation of our nation with the country you are planning to go their actually situation also in their own land. USA, many Indian students are dying without taking their proper investigation too so knowing about the country where you will be going is very significant for your near dears safety.

3. Tourism Destination at other country - Bharat is so beautiful yet rich people adores and flaunts to visit foreign destinations. Why we want to spend at other locations and contribute to their economy not Bharat one. Tourism is one of the major pillar of evonomy that attributes to growth in GDP. Despite the economic biasness, one more factor is the relationship of the particular nation with Bharat like Turkey, Malaysia, Maldives, Ajerbaijan etc, at several international forums they are against Bharat like in Kashmir Issue supporting Pakistan, and indirectly while choosing these countries as a tourist destination we will be contributing to their economics GDP. As a nationalist before visiting such places our geopolitics understanding should be clear and loyalty must weighed to our country side. Choosing places for wedding also falls to the same court. So knowing all international relations enables us to showcase our patriotism in financial terms.

Conclusion - Eventually, smart citizens builds up the smartest country. Bharat enough kind and generous always attempts for the peace at the world wide needs much awaited cooperation and support from it's own citizens knowing well about the international relations and geopolitics. 

Our motive is always to work for the progress of our great nation Bharat.
