Why Result Day is so fearful....
The day when every child experience shivering, stress and anxiety... So called Result Day...
Stress and Anxiety are so common,
Fear is not because of marks we will achieve,
Temperature raises even in the shadow of sun,,
You are wise only if you passes 85-90% sieve,,
Very popular ideom states every one is worshippers of rising sun - It's so ubiquitous observation essenced almost at everywhere. No efforts are respected, always near dears, society, surroundings prefer excellent results. Marks are the only credentials for measuring your intelligence and hard work. Even comparison based on the marks are becoming more and more stronger. Good marks signifies, higher education, reputed job titles and offcourse more income and packages. Wait... Wait.... Is this is the only defination of education and scoring good. Where does the actual lessons of life have been lost.
And what about the students who actually tried hard but couldn't cross this 90% filter. Isn't this very obnoxious to allign a boundary for such average students.
The most important traits that are very significant for survival has been lost in the race of scoring high marks. Such as trying hard, never giving attitude, leaning something new, respecting others, handling complex situations etc. A piece of paper are now-a-days deciding everyone's future no actual talent is being appreciated. Parents are in stress for their ward scores and students are in fear of scoring low or afew less than their pals.
What could be the situation vice versa....
Appreciation for efforts should be our first responsibility so that confidence of the pupils increases. This upthrust them to work more and more in the direction they are attempting. Even appreciation earns their trust so that any stumbling blocks they are facing can be shared with you as a friend not just as a parent. Preparing themself for future roller coaster ride which life offers frequently. How to handle logarithmic problems of life and making iota solution if real solution is not coming. Let's make failure so common that our children should not be afraid of at least trying.....
