Reason is that the later one has no option to loose. This is the...

What exactly is fastest in the Universe and interesting to know why ?

Physicists once tried to chase light - and in doing so, discovered the hidden architecture of space and time.Light seems so ordinary — the flick of a lamp, the glow of the Sun — that it’s easy to forget it carries one of nature’s deepest secrets. At exactly 299,792 kilometers per second (about 186,000 miles per second), the speed of light in a vacuum is the fastest anything can travel in the universe. This is not just a large number — it is a cosmic speed limit, a constant that underpins space, time, and causality itself. Albert Einstein built his theory of relativity around this principle: no information or material object can exceed the speed of light. As he once confessed: For the rest of my life, I want to reflect on what light is. Galileo’s Lantern, Rømer’s estimate Centuries before Einstein, in the early 1600s, Galileo tried to measure the speed of light with nothing more than shuttered lanterns and a stopwatch. He stationed a colleague on a distant hill, uncovered his lantern, a...

Kevlar-like EV battery material dissolves after use to recycle itself

Image
Recycling lithium-ion batteries – whether they're the large ones in your EVs or the small ones in your gadgets – is no easy task, as it requires specialized processes, high heat, and a range of chemicals to achieve. Owing to the complexity and costs involved, many used up batteries are simply sent to landfills.. To tackle this, a team of material chemists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has developed a more sustainable electrolyte – the compound that facilitates the movement of lithium ions between a battery's cathode and anode. When it's added to water, it spontaneously forms a stable structure to conduct ions across its gel-like surface; when the battery is immersed into organic solvents, the electrolyte dissolves immediately, allowing for the electrolytes to be separately recycled. That could negate the difficult processes involved in extracting more commonly used electrolytes and recycling them using expensive equipment, and prevents the production ...

Why to relearn lessons about the importance of boredom. Have we forgotten to teach us How to Champion Nothingness

Chaos leads to solutions many times, But patience and relaxing usually rhymes,, Deep breaths are often considered as a biggest relief when stress strikes. Still deep breaths didn't receive the respect it deserves. Similar is the disrespect that crowns to being idle. Famous saying idle mind is devils home, but forgot that doing nothing is also an art. The word boredom is illusive and ranks bottom when evaluated among the enthusiasm and passion. To restore the faith that nature has concrete plan for every specific things likewise idle time and rest time is mentioned in our history in our vedas if learned properly. Whereas we consider relaxing is entertainment and not idling.  Boredom is the tool that improves the creativity :- astonished to read, still the nice thing about boredom is that it allows your mind to wander.
