Truth knows no colour

Truth and Righteousness are the stepping stones to human greatness. In any circumstances do not give up Truth. It is the teaching of most of the scriptures. Truthtelling treats people with dignity. To tell someone the truth is a measure of respect. while it is missing when someone lies. Truth builds up the confidence. Truth triumphs over the fear.  King  Harischandra , who gave up his kingdom, wife and son and even chose to serve at the crematorium, is the supreme example of one who stood for Truth.   Sage  Vishwamitra , who has given Harischandra the most severe tests and ordeals, ultimately declared: “The whole earth can be held in the palm of one’s hand. The entire ocean can be drunk in one gulp. The earth and the sky can be rolled into one. But it is impossible to make Harischandra utter a lie.”  Benefits Of Telling The Truth You don’t have to remember your lies. You will feel more confident You will get trust and respect. you will hate lies, your surro...

Country's First Water soluble Fertilizer that will reduce our dependency on China

In geopolitics there is neither enemy nor friend it's always interests. Therefore current closeness is not concrete to trust China. Galwan incident recently stabbed India badly. To ease some stress India has successfully developed its first indigenous water-soluble fertiliser technology after seven years of research, marking a potential breakthrough that could transform the country from an import-dependent nation to an export-dominating force in specialty fertilisers. The technology, backed by the Ministry of Mines and developed using Indian raw materials and Indian-designed plants, represents a true "Make in India" proposition that could significantly reduce the country's heavy dependence on Chinese specialty fertiliser imports. Rajiv Chakraborty, President of the Soluble Fertilizer Industry Association (SFIA), who spearheaded the research initiative stated that "My aim was to make India, especially for specialty fertilizer, an export-dominating country, not an ...

How effective is Sustainable Packaging to save our worsening planet

Recent flash floods and climate change poses extremity to choose reforms. The growing menace of plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing challenges of modern urban life. Our cities, bustling centers of human activity, are now drowning in non-biodegradable waste that clogs drains, pollutes rivers, and harms both humans and wildlife. In the search for solutions, sustainable packaging has emerged as a beacon of hope, promising to reduce environmental footprints while maintaining functionality. But can the simple act of rethinking packaging truly transform urban spaces? Rethinking waste: From plastic to biodegradable solutions Sustainable packaging involves materials and processes that minimise environmental impact. Unlike conventional plastics that may take hundreds of years to decompose, sustainable alternatives, ranging from biodegradable plastics to plant-based and reusable materials, offer a way to close the loop on waste. Cities, which are major consumers of packaged goo...

Stability is an illusion we seek in a world of change.

न कंचित् शाश्वतम् Yesterday listening to news concluded that now IT trade once highest paying jobs is most vulnerable and maximum firing is happening in this specific sector, the positive lesson extracted is that the reason being more lazzi and relaxed. Means taking the comfort permanent, this not worked on skills and Generative AI replacing those lazy bears. Emphasing that stability we humans seeking is just an illusion, only changes are the permanent. Accept it or suffer.  There’s one little problem with that, however. Stability, in any form, is an illusion. It’s an illusion that we actively cultivate and desperately hold onto, but an illusion nonetheless. Maintaining the right balance Chapter, verse 17 of the Bhagwad Gita says ‘युक्ताहारविहारस्य युक्तचेष्टस्य कर्मसु। युक्तस्वप्नावबोधस्य योगो भवति दु:खहा॥’ This shloka talks about maintaining a balance in life, in comfort and effort, in work and sleep, and indulgence and restriction. It says that those who can walk the fine line b...

When do we reach out to such renewables. Miraculously Saline water generating electricity

Japan has launched its first osmotic power plant in Fukuoka, becoming only the second country after Denmark to generate electricity from the meeting of seawater and freshwater. The facility, which began operating on August 5, will produce around 880,000 kilowatt-hours annually, powering a desalination plant and marking a milestone in renewable energy. Japan has officially entered the global race to generate energy from the meeting of saltwater and freshwater, unveiling its first osmotic power plant in Fukuoka earlier this month. The facility, operated by the Fukuoka District Waterworks Agency, is only the second in the world after Denmark’s pioneering project in 2023. Experts see it as a crucial development in the search for renewable energy sources that can function continuously without weather limitations or carbon emissions. What we know about Japan’s first osmotic power plant The newly launched installation in Fukuoka uses the difference in salinity between seawater and freshwater ...

Nature Balancing - Methane from ocean floor filters by electrical networks of distinct microbes

Image
Methane—a potent greenhouse gas—constantly seeps from the ocean floor and can rise into the atmosphere. Discoveries has uncovered how tiny microorganisms work together as a living electrical network to consume some of this gas before it escapes, acting as a powerful living filter. By revealing how these microbes naturally reduce methane emissions, the findings could lead to innovative strategies to better control methane release in both natural and engineered environments. The study, sheds light on a unique partnership between two very different microbes: anaerobic methanotrophic archaea (ANME) and sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB). Alone, neither microbe can consume methane. When ANME break down methane, the process releases electrons that must be offloaded—a process known as a redox reduction, in which electrons move from one molecule to another—much like how humans rely on oxygen to accept electrons. Without an electron acceptor, methane consumption stalls. This is where their bacteri...

Mountains' secret to pace your age that beaches don't

Image
The peculiar truth in simple terms  Time doesn’t tick equally everywhere, it varies with locations. Higher altitude means slightly weaker gravity that results in slightly faster time. Mountains “age” you a whisper faster than beaches. Gravity is a brake on time Picture gravity as a soft brake. Stronger gravity presses harder, slowing every process—including clocks and biology—a tiny bit. Weaker gravity eases off, and time runs a touch quicker. Proof from stacked clocks Scientists placed ultra-precise atomic clocks about 1 meter apart; the higher one ticked faster. The difference is tiny (trillionths of a second), but real and measurable. Mountains vs beaches (how big is it?) Live years on a mountain and you’ll end up fractions of a second “older” than a sea‑level twin. You won’t feel it—only precision clocks can tell—but the direction is clear. How gravity slows aging (for the nerds) Einstein’s general relativity says mass curves spacetime. Deeper in a gravity well (closer to a mas...
