Stability is an illusion we seek in a world of change.

न कंचित् शाश्वतम्

Yesterday listening to news concluded that now IT trade once highest paying jobs is most vulnerable and maximum firing is happening in this specific sector, the positive lesson extracted is that the reason being more lazzi and relaxed. Means taking the comfort permanent, this not worked on skills and Generative AI replacing those lazy bears. Emphasing that stability we humans seeking is just an illusion, only changes are the permanent. Accept it or suffer.

There’s one little problem with that, however. Stability, in any form, is an illusion. It’s an illusion that we actively cultivate and desperately hold onto, but an illusion nonetheless.

Maintaining the right balance

Chapter, verse 17 of the Bhagwad Gita says ‘युक्ताहारविहारस्य युक्तचेष्टस्य कर्मसु। युक्तस्वप्नावबोधस्य योगो भवति दु:खहा॥’ This shloka talks about maintaining a balance in life, in comfort and effort, in work and sleep, and indulgence and restriction. It says that those who can walk the fine line between excess and just enough can remove their problems and worries with the practice of Yoga. Stability is an illusion we seek in a world of change.

Why change is the wheel of world
Imagine world with no change, no change of seasons, monotonous life, no fresh fruits, flowers. Isn't it weird. We love to see changes surrounding us but opposes when it happens to us. Even segregates if good changes happens they are valued while hard changes are not acceptable. The truth lies that who bears the pressure and stress generally erupts as lustrous as diamonds. If changes ceases, life stops with numerous stumblings. Therefore changes are the driving force for continuation of life and sustainence of ecosystem.

The phrase "Stability is an illusion we seek in a world of change" suggests that true stability isn't about things staying the same, but about developing internal adaptability and resilience to thrive amidst constant change.

If changes were not adopted can't be able to reach the south pole of moon, navigation in one click and 3monitoring weather forecasting is so convenient. The one who stretches their comfort and choose changes over monotonous has been the flag bearer of progress and prosperity. If Homi Jahagir Bhabha has opted for his high tech job over patriotism (making nation nuclear power) , ISRO wouldn't exist. If Savitri Phule followed the normal and concealed the zeal of change, women education must not be in existence. If Japan disrupts because of nuclear attacks, won't be today's most powerful and innovative nation. Those who dare, They are offcourse rare, But followers are everywhere while achievers are rare.

Bhagwat Geeta stated by Lord Krishna said that if we succumb to stability, it brings attachment, and when seeks distance it disrupts us emotionally and therefore hurts our spiritual awakening.

Evidence for this is everywhere: the one constant in the universe is change. Physics teaches us that stars are born, have a defined life cycle, and eventually die, sometimes in a blaze of glory and other times slowly fading away like the embers of a fire. Biology teaches us that species are constantly evolving over time, adapting to changing environments until at some point their relationship to distant ancestors can only be teased out through the blueprints of their DNA.
