36 years of pain and distress, Still continues to hurt - Kashmiri Hindu Exodus
Life is so unpredictable, once cherish the banglow of serene Kashmir, now dare to return. Eyes fills with fear, scream and disappoints, when will kashmiri pandits' return actually happens. Kashmir the land of beauty, serenity and peace has so many memories of blood and abandoning. How people has to run way keeping their all material properties intact. Just in a single night, owner of house became homeless and poor. Spending day and night in refugee camps with the hope of returning that still continues. Long 36 years of wait, yet exact time for completion of the wait is not known to anyone. Neighbours betrayed, government remained silent and God's heart too stopped, how brutally extremists had killed the man and raped women is beyond mercy. Wait still continues......
Despite the situation improvement t Kashmir, no one wants to return. Still Big concern, is it that trusting the Kashmir's other religion is far from the potential or government is failing in building the lost trust among the Kashmiri Hindus. Else, who don't want to live in the heaven of Earth with best AQI in the lap of nature and almighty God's favourite location. All such loopholes between the statements of government is dis appointing and mis leading. Equality before law is still a mystery in our nation.
January 19 is observed by Kashmiri Pandits as ‘holocaust day’ to commemorate the mass exodus of the community from the Valley in 1990 following targeted killings and threats by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.
For the last eight years, the relief-holders in the community have been struggling for enhancement of their monthly relief. Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his last visit to Jammu during the elections campaigning promised to enhance the relief without any delay. There is a measure of genuine desperation in this regard among the relief holders for the last more than five years.
No government would like to get exposed so far as its confidence in this regard is concerned. The Modi government is perceived as a government to create new history in Kashmir and the displaced community. No government would like to get exposed so far as its confidence in this regard is concerned. The Modi government is perceived as a government to create new history in Kashmir and the displaced community of Kashmiri Hindus looks up to this government with great expectations and hope. The saga of broken promises needs to be reversed, sooner than later. Hope that the government is listening on this fateful 36th Holocaust Day….!...
