Sirpur :- this is flourishing and prosperous capital of the Dakshin Kosala kingdom, Sirpur, discovered in 1872.

It is believed to have been in oblivion for a couple of centuries as an earthquake had leveled most of the surrounding in the 11th century. The three crucial archaeological sites are Laxman Temple, Buddha Vihar and Surang Tila. Out of these the Surang Tila, which dates back to the 7th century A.D., is the most important one and has been always fascinated by researchers and tourists, alike. The temple complex is made up of white stone with a pillared terrace 30 feet above the ground with steps to reach the elevated terrace area. At the sides of the stairs with a curvature, it's design has been cleaverly shaped to prevent destruction to the complex from earthquakes. The structure itself remained largely and perfectly intact. Archaeologists suggest that this is because of the Advanced Construction techniques known as AyurVedic or Vedic architecture utilized by its builders.

Auroville Dome or Matrimandir -
Matrimandir, the Golden Globe in Auroville, is another lucrative example of engineering marvels of Indian Architecture. This architecture is located in Puducherry, Tamil Nadu is also known as the Temple of the Mother and has a spiritual significance edifice to the yoga and meditation loving masses. Sindhudurg Fort Salt Water Fort - It's shocking to see this old fort and counted among the engineering wonders  Well, this fort has been standing on seawater for the last 400 years! and disapproving the fact that salt of the sea water erodes the buildings. The engineering marvel of Indian Architecture, the Sindhudurg fort, as the building’s foundation seems to remain as strong as it would have been when it was first built! The scientific reason that this fort has the potential to resist the wrath of corrosion is because of the thousands of tons of lead that was used in the structure’s foundations. It is unexceptionally a wonder how architects of those times transported molten lead to the middle of the sea to build the foundation of Sindhudurg Fort. One of the additional fascination to the architecture is that it has a hidden entrance. Looks like our forefathers found some humor in war as well, this gate was designed to mislead the enemy, and keep them wandering around in circles in search of the main gate!

Conclusion - India is blessed with so many mysterious and eyes capturing architecture wonders. Our forefathers were wise, innovative and creativity to bestow Bharat with enormous such structures. Engineering and such in-depth knowledge are par of excellence and still Bharat is famous in western countries as a nation of lizards, snakes and poors. We, as a nation and nationals are gifted with much of architectures, wonders but failed to represent such excellence at world level. France follwed by China is the nation with maximum of UNESCO heritage sites but if presented well in a systematic manner, India is none the less any other locations of the world, it's just the matter of advertisement and showcasing our incredible India, the Bharat.
